Palbot

Background

Small, manoeuvrable, and coated with a special chameleonwear surface layer, this humanoid remote supports medical and engineering personnel in dangerous frontline roles. Equipped with specialised waldos, Palbots allow highly trained military personnel to perform their duties without the direct risk involved with treating injuries or repairing equipment while under fire.

Outside of their widespread use in the military, Palbots (often minus their military coating) see extensive service in hospitals, factories, mines, and even as high-end toys for the super-rich. A masterclass in simple but effective design, the Palbot is easily repaired and extremely hardy.
