Background

The Operations Subsection was founded by a being of pure logic, and this would explain the creation of the Apsaras Unit, the cyberdancers, because the formation of a team such as this is the most logical step that a force like OperationS could possibly take. There is nothing more ideal for an Aspect of ALEPH than turning it into a possessor of foreign bodies. At the end of the day, they are all created lacking a physical body, and they don't acquire one until they have been properly trained and have proven to be worthy of one. Although of course, for now, not all of them make it to the rank of Posthumans. It is a purely economic issue, as Lhosts are still very expensive. However, creating agents that can jump from one available body on the ground to another, that definitely can be done. And what are the most abundant bodies OperationS can deploy?

Indeed, its Remotes: Tacbots, GunBots, etc. They may not be as shiny and exciting as a Bodhisattva Lhost, but With someone competent at the controls, they can be as lethal as the best SSS operatives. And the Apsaras are far beyond just competent-you'd better believe it. They hang back there, plug into one of those infernal OperationS Remotes and spring into action. And just as the Remote goes down, they jump to the next. While all the enemy sees is what appeared to be nothing more than a simple mechanized unit decimating them with the efficiency of an elite operative. And that, by the time he manages to lake them down after suffering considerable losses, another one takes their place with the same degree of efficiency and deadliness. Quite frankly, if we consider the devastating damage the Apsaras cause the enemy, they should really be affiliated with the Psychological Operations Department, because they act like a sledgehammer to the opposing force's morale-as well as to their troops.
